NC Comicon was founded in 2010 by comics retailer and entrepreneur Alan Gill and comic book and film creator Tommy Lee Edwards with the mission of bringing the ultimate celebration of comics and pop-culture to the Triangle. NC Comicon draws fans and aspiring creators from around the world and regularly features all-star creators and guests such as Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance, Doom Patrol), Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead), John Barrowman (Dr. Who, Arrow), Klaus Janson (The Dark Knight Returns) and more as well as industry-leading publishers like DC Comics and IDW.

With its creator-focused vision and intimate, all-encompassing atmosphere, NC Comicon is a prime destination for fans and creators of all walks and passions to learn, celebrate, and share in a wide variety of interests and fandoms, from comics to cosplay, gaming, film, animation, design, and more.
